I’ve always had a fascination with abstract images, so when I stumbled upon Texas-based artist Taylor McClure, I loved how the colors of his illustrations popped out. Basing his artwork on random doodles in his sketchbooks, he creates abstract and vivid images that really stand out.

Saw Dragon Quest IX for $16 on Amazon and decided to go for it. Playing Xenoblade Chronicles has sort of reignited my interest in RPGs. Before that the last RPG I seriously played was Skies of Arcadia about 12 years ago on the Dreamcast. Good times… I’m pretty late to the party, but hopefully DQIX lives up to the hype.

I drew this about three months ago and then put it away because I was furious at it. It’s not finished but I like it more then I remember. It is called “The Sewer Cleaner” and it is a scene from the book “A Fine Balance” by Rohinton Mistry.
